Last meal in Tubbergen We had a beautiful dinner the night before we left with a enormous ice dessert. For the next week or so we be the guest of Jola & Hugo in Etten Leur. We told them we take the warm weather with us and we did. It was only 210 kilometres to go, not that long.Deciding again to take the small country roads, but that became a fiasco. In Holland those small roads are not really that easy, tractors, bike tracks on each side take a lot of time. We tried but not for long we soon went to the autobahn and that was easier and quicker. Just the one stop to buy some flowers. We arrived early afternoon. Emptied the car, the rest of the day was spent on talking. It was indeed very warm and the houses here are not equiped with airconditions, not that easy for the people. A trip to the Barber was very nessecary, said Liz, You are starting to look like an artist. The Barber was not that far away from the shops and there were some very nice, typical Dutch things to eat, like croquets and rookworst. That Saturday we were invited through Jola &

same place Hugo to a street barbeque. Very unique. Hugo introduced us and we were pleasantly received by the neighbours. All were very curious about life Down Under. Each is paying towards the food. Starting at about 4 in the afternoon. Lots of food and drinks. Steaks, pork chops, different sorts of salads. All the meat is placed on a big table, you take what you like and put it on the barbie. Keep a watch over it for somebody else might just take it. Plates filled with ice creams and bavarois closed a very succesful evening. These are just the first few days, who knows what else we can expect. Even the weather is looking good. This creates a problem on the weekend as lots of people are trying to go to the beach. Long filles of cars are waiting patiently in blocked roads but may never reach the beach. Till next time, bye for now Liz & Allan.

Zonnig Holland
