As you can see, we are having an awesome time!

The views, scenery, and sights are fantastic! We don't know where we can go from here...well maybe to San Francisco, Napa, Yosemite, Vegas again... They were already in the route map. We have only had a dozen conversations about our life travels on the road with our kids, family and friends. We may have to do a Winnebago caravan with all of our loved ones. Wouldn't that be fun!

So we left Vegas Tuesday morning around 9:00am on our 9 hour trek to the West Coast. We saw mountains, desert, cactus, more highway curves, and beautiful, luscious trees. It's weird seeing palm trees in the mountains. Total irony to me.

We arrived in San Diego and again discovered that watching Priceline everyday for weeks, once again, was worth it. We are staying at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in a 'premium' king room with a bay view and it is literally waterfront. It is a beautiful hotel and we recommend it to anyone who visits here. When we walk outside we are on the harbor and our backyard is the Seaport Village...great eating places here.

We strolled on the Harbor last night like couples do and one of the highlights was passing a homeless man dead asleep on the sidewalk with a blanket over his head. Quite random and sad, but he looked like he had been there before.

This morning we had a FABULOSO breakfast buffet here at the hotel and we just got back from a two-hour Harbor Cruise. It was awesome and cold. Yeah, they say it can beel cool summers, but this is uncharacteristically cold (a local said that, so my sentiments are legit). However, one little breeze never stopped any fun.

Hope you enjoy our pictures. Now we are off to explore and later on see a fireworks spectacular on the harbor...right outside of our hotel. I did mention our hotel is on the harbor right?!? Well, it is. People are ALREADY camped out with their tents and pits along the piers and parks...Since this morning! They must know what's in store. P.S. Hoodies on July 4th look so weird.

Hasta Luego!

Surprise
I hope you don't mind I called the city of San Diego and ask if they could light the sky up on your Anniversary, and they said YES. Enjoy.
