Today Lucy and I hit up North Beach (not a beach) for a little culture. It was where the Beat poets originated and we visited the famous City Lights Bookshop and publishing for a little Zine reading. Got a couple of cute ones. We walked through China town to get there which was busy and full of lucky cats. Plus we visited a giant chinese pet store...2 words - PUG PUPPIES. I actually felt really bad for the poor little guys, panting in the heat in their tiny little cage. It took every fibre in my being not to buy one...
We'd heard about this restaraunt called 'The Stinking Rose' which, as you may guess by the name, was an eatery dedicated to garlic. We. Stink. Glad our other halfs aren't here because we would not be getting any kisses tonight! On the plus side if any Vampires move into our dorm we will be fully protected. I have never eaten that much garlic in my LIFE. Mmmm.
