we stay for a week in kep where we teach at a village school , the kids were ace they were really switched on and wanted to learn , it was a bit strange really as these were village kids and inbeteen lessons they were back working on the land working the cattle or in the rice fields and hey these kids were like 10 years old ,
we sail a half built boat around the islands with the schools staff and the aussie couple who run the school and have chicken curry just off rabbit island.
on to otres beach what a beach this is perfect,
our last night on otres mr lemore the owner of our accomadation insisted on paying for our food and drinks and breakfast he was a fine fellow didnt understanord a word we said but hey we managed to communicate somehow.
on the thai cambodian border there has been fighting but not near, here however some thai soldiers did cross the border here at ko kong and it was sad really as the next day you could see some of the cambodians got scared and were leaving town all piled on trucks with their wordly
beach seller
our 3 timea daily belonings all wrapped up in bin liners, they were heading for the safety of pnohm pehn .
we are now back in thailand had a few days staying on koh mak a lonely beach paradise we slept in ( eco friendly ) sheds in the jungle, i have decided eco friendly means very basic and they dont have to provide you with proper accomadation but charge you the going rate , our shower and toilet were outside at the back of the hut no roof or anything while the owners had air conditioned chalets
now in koh chang and its good to be back in thailand ,
but cambodia is a special place
