hello all!

point form notes for today since i just wrote a huge blog and lost it because of silly computet shinanigans...

good sleep in after many hours of transport

planning of the next week or two in the morning

breakfast at the hostel a single dollar for eggs and toast, and delicious jam!

afternoon wandering downtown santiago, got lost on the way downtown somehow... even though we did it prefectly yesterday... odd...

trip to the bank which left us in a panic since neither of our cards worked... went to a different bank, crisis averted... still tryint to figure that one out...

missed our walking tour due to the bank shinanigans, but gave ourselves the tour because of all of these adventures

took the subway!! ticket buying was hilarious... 30 plus transit workers in a little booth... cant hear what they are saying because they are behind full glass... weird... anyway got on the right train and off at the right stop! go us!

sat at plaza de armas for some people watching and shade... plus 33 here today... so hotttt...

wandered to the post office to test out my phrasebook skills... we will see if the letters make it... haha!

then to the grocery store for some siesta snacks and dinner ingredients

feet the pool and some emails home and we are two pleased chicas...

leaving santiago tomorrow, aly and i have yet to be charmed by it... another big city i suppose, neat buildings, great square but on to other places! i think we will catch the bus to valapariso tomorrow, supposed to be a nice beach town! beach sounds good to me!
