hello everyone!
we made it!! it was a long flight but we made it to santiago! it is beautiful here, not as hot as we were expecting which is actually quite plesant! we managed to clear the infamous chilean customs, pay our "reciprocity fee" and catch public transit to the general area of our hostel! we found the hostel pretty quick which was nice after so many hours in transit. we cannot check in to our room until 1pm so aly and i have managed to fire off a few emails, buy a litre and a half of piña juice and dig out our swimsuits for the pool!!!! so i suppose you could say all is well. thinking of you all back home!
