We are now in Kho Pha Ngan and we have found the most wonderful place to date. We are staying at a beach called Haad Khom, which secluded only begins to explain. It's a helluva hike from the main road and well worth it. We are staying at the Coconut Beach Bungalows for 300 baht a night (around 8 USD). It's run by a family who are the most accomodating people we've met. The beach is right in front of our bungalow, the food is great, they have snorkeling gear, nice dogs to play with, and a shuttle to town when you want it. There's really no reason to leave except to come and find an internet cafe like this one to brag about how great your life is.

We spent the last few days in Koh Tao, another beautiful island. We did a lot of hiking and snorkelling. The highlight was definitely snorkelling and seeing a 4ft black tip reef shark about 10 meters in front of us. It was only a little bit scary but mostly just freaking cool. I guess that's what you get when you snorkel in Shark Bay.

We're winding down in Thailand and

This was our view at breakfast every day.
we've purchased our book on India so it's off to the next adventure stop. From what we can tell, it's going to be a whole new set of culture shocks and excitement so we'll see what happens. We're also going to use that time to get some more photos on to a disk so that we can show you guys all that we've been doing. It's been hard to blog as much as we'd like because the computers are harder to find here...oh and we've been at the beach and trekking around too much to sit in front of a computer.

We had a touch of homesickness yesterday but it went away pretty quickly as we watched the sun set from our private little beach. It's pretty funny that on the beach there's a "dive shop" consisting of a sign that's tied to a palm tree and a tent for an office. Love it! Don't worry Moms, we didn't use their services. We've got pictures of all this stuff and we'll post them probably in Bangkok or somewhere in India.

We really don't want to leave. We could easily stay quite some time in Koh Pha Ngan on

this little beach. This island is known for it's Full Moon parties and last night was a Half Moon party, which we thought was pretty funny. We think they're just looking for a reason to have a big bash. More power to them!

We want to come back here for sure. It will be a bit down the road but keep this in mind if you want to check out the beautiful beaches and the smiling faces of Thailand!

We miss everyone and we hope this finds you guys with a smile on your face. Lots of Love!

It was cooler outside than inside at our bungalow so we decided to move outside with the mosquito net that I carried around all over Asia to use just for this reason.
