Shalom (שלום)

So yesterday was the last day in Ulpan. (So glad its over!) In case some of you have forgotten Ulpan is an extensive language course that has been running for the last 6 weeks. I have no clue what happened to the month of August but wow . . . it just went by so fast. It still feels like summer here - so its hard to think of that fall-time is approaching. So after my final in Ulpan my roommate Dan (fellow Buff) and I decided to celebrate with an afternoon at the beach. I love the beach that's right by campus here in Ramat Aviv. It by far is my favorite beach out of the 4 overs I have visited. There was no one there and the waves were perfect. Once I remember to bring my camera to the beach, you'll see some pictures!

I have to mention that I was really excited to see the CU Buffs hand it to the Rams over the weekend.
Revenge . . .when it comes to football its a sweet thing. GO BUffS!

This last Shabbas I met up with some fellow Buffs in Tel Aviv

You don't get to see this everyday!
for my good friend's birthday- Tzvi (aka Jeremy Darling).

That night all five of us were chanting the CU "Fight Song" and bringing up Boulder days for all of us miss home in our own way. I must say it was great to be around fellow Buffs who take pride in CU/Boulder but most importantly - they have a passion for Israel.

Later that night as we were changing the location up we ran into one of those scenes that just makes your night. As we were approaching another venue we noticed a bunch of police out side standing around this car - as we came up upon the scene we noticed that they were trying to break into one of their police vehicles because they locked their keys inside. Ha.
I had to capture the moment - plus a woman cop came up to me and we both started to laugh at the situation. (How many Cops does it take to break into a Cop Car?) Take a look at the picture.

שנה טובה לכולם

Shana Tova to all my friends and family - may the new year to come be amazing and fulfilling for all of you!

You're right. Great picture! So, my guess is 4. Or maybe 5. Maybe the female cop was the one to get it open -- with a hairpin. Sounds like you are having a good time while you are on break. Love you. Tell friends we said Hi!
