Our third day in Singapore was spent at Singapore Zoo and Night Safari.
After a late start to the day we arrived at the zoo about two oclock and proceeded to view the animals. As zoo's go it was ok, the animals selection was average but the location was stunning. The lack of cages made for good photo oppotunities and clear views of the animals. the humid weather made for sticky bodies so we were glad of the wet play area in the kids zone, where we had the chance to cool off and have some refreshment.
We left the zoo at six and went straight onto the Night Safari. Before doing the walking tour we stopped off at the restaurant for dinner where we ate and watered. We walked off dinner while viewing the animals and when legs started to give way we boarded the tram to take the guided tram tour. it was great to see the animals at thier liveliest rather than lying around in the hot sun and found they were much more interested in showing us what they thought of our interest in them.
Starting the day late made for a late finish, arriving back to
the hotel at midnight.

Hi - just read your entries. I am not very capable at using these sites and can't get my head around Facebook even. Sounds like you had a packed time in Singapore and got through all of the planned days out. Did you get to that hotel with the pools on the top of it; it looks amazing. Keep the blogs coming its great to hear how you are gettign on. I will show Josie later today. x Lynda
