A not too big ferry from Bonafacio to Santa Teresa
First time to be in Sardinia. Hotel Ancora is a simple tourist hotel and the tourist business is probably the only they have in Santa Teresa.

Somehow I always feel more at home in Italy than in the Spain or Franch and perhaps the reason is that the Italians does not spek so much more english than the other countries but they are willing and doing their best to help you. Found it today again at the busstation, not really station but there are a lot of busses.
One of the drivers wrote all the time possibilities I have to go to Olbia tomorrow and he did not speak one word english.

Had yesterday my first coffee in 10 days. Espresso. Not the most healty one for the cholesterol.

Spend the day at the beach and you have to go down a lot to reach the beach what is not a problem but back you have to take the same way up. That s no fun.Rented an umbrella and a chair and was sunbathing neatly in a row with 400 Italians. No dull moment.

Met an Italian girl who checked if it was dutch that I was

Leaving Bonafacio you see these houses
talking in the telephone. She worked in the Netherlands for tom tom. Had some conversation but probably she had no much money for she had no upperpart of the bikini. Very distracting for a good conversation.

Bought some washing powder for untill now the hotels had no laundry service or my staying was too short.
One hotel had an expressservice of 48 hours. Did my laundry and I m sure my luggage will smell better tomorrow.

Tonight the big night for football. I bought enough beer for a long match

That's a real worry
Hai Bert, Makes you feel a rich man ,in many ways, if you see young people who can't spend enough money to buy a complete bikini set. That's a real worry. by the way i did n't know that theter was a reletion between espresso and cholestorol, only know the relation with the nerves. Enjoy your stay as well ;as your trip. Regards, Cees
