Greetings from Bequia,
Lets see, the last time we blogged was Monday morning, so what's happened since then? Well, Monday afternoon one of the villas the Team represents was with out water, so we headed up there to investigate. The two couples staying there were all on our Tobago Cays trip the day before and they were pleased to see a familiar face. After about 20 minutes I finally located the pump and realized it had come unplugged. Plugged it back in and was an instant hero.
Later that afternoon, we showed one of the same couples the neighboring villa that is for sale. There are actually two villas that share the same property. We went away thinking they were more curious than interested, but we still had a good time showing them and seeing the villas for ourselves.
Tuesday we went up to a little villa called Cotton Tree to photograph some guttering work that had been done for the owner. I know, pretty uneventful, but some days that's life on Bequia. We also took a good long hike up to an area called crown heights to photo the view from a couple of lots that are

Anybody Got a Shovel?for sale there. If it sounds like we are becoming the local photographers, that may be about right. It's amazing how good a photographer you become when you pick up a really nice Nikon with a couple of great lenses.
Wednesday we waited around all morning trying to connect with some folks on St Vincent to set up a time to photo a home there that's listed for sale by the Team here. Finally at 1:30 we heard from them-just in time to make the 2:00 ferry.
Once on St Vincent, we met our cab driver, Trembler. I was afraid to ask him how he got that nickname. He zoomed us around the island and up the steep hills to a villa called "White House" The place was totally locked down for the season with hurricane shutters in place and everything. Their neighbor had the keys to let us in, but it still took a good thirty minutes just to get the house prepared to photograph. We barely got through in time to catch the last ferry to Bequia at 6:00.
Today was another trip to the Tobago Cays aboard the "Friendship Rose". Up at 5:00am and

For Sale! If anyone's interested on the dock at 6:00 to get the boat loaded and ready for our guests to board at 7:00am. We had 18 scheduled, but a group of seven were held up in Barbados by another airline strike and didn't make it to Bequia. So we wound up with only 11, which made for a little easier day. All very nice and fun guests. The day was long and hot, but hey, that's life in paradise. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
Tomorrow I have to head up to the guttering project and cover one of the lateral pipes with dirt and finish the job that the original guttering guy didn't complete. All I need is for someone to locate me a shovel. Easier said than done here on the island. Tools have a way of walking off and not coming back, so its hard to keep one and hard to borrow one. Someone suggested I could use a plastic shovel like a kid's shovel, but I'm not thinking that would work...

So....how much is the "White House" going for?:-) Looks beautiful! Sounds like you're having a wonderful time. Nothing too new around here. There was lots of flooding in OKC and some here in Shawnee on Monday. Rita and I were out riding yesterday and the Econtuchka bridge had been washed out!! A 4 foot opening in the bridge went completely across. You could see the river rushing underneath. Yikes! We had to turn around and ride a little farther than planned. I did Route 66 Olympic distance in El Reno a week and a half ago. It went well. I had my best swim ever - 29:57. I was pretty excited about that. It was a little windy on the ride and HOT on the run but that's Oklahoma for you!! Enjoying the blogs. How long are you staying in Bequia this time?
