Iglesia Xaleva
Here is an example of some of the color and architecture I am seeing. Hey again!
I spent the afternoon yesterday and this morning walking all around Granada. It is a great city to walk in with parks and many cathedrals and old churches. I stopped at a tourist breakfast place owned by an American guy from New Orleans. It seems as if this is a spot for the expats to hang out and drink coffee.
My plan for today is to hang out then head to Masaya where I will do another city tour for a day. Early in the morning I will catch an express bus to Matagalpa. In Masaya is an artisans market which I would like to check out. I hope to find a small place to stay because it was really crowded and noisy where I was in Granada. The guests left a huge mess in the kitchen so that I didn't want to use it. But with my recovering stomach I haven't needed or wanted to eat much. I feel pretty much back to normal, but I won't overeat at all, even if the food tastes good!
I hope to take some spanish classes in Matagalpa, but not so many hours that I don't have time
Parque Xalteva
There are several nice parks to visit. to walk and explore and to study and rest up for the next class.
Hasta luego,
Dawn

Oh dear...
I hope your stomach recovers quickly. I remember drinking a lot of penafiel grapefruit soda when I got sick in Honduras so maybe there is something similar there. Take care and "e" you soon!
