Made a couple of trips around Vancouver on Monday & Tuesday. On Monday we hopped on the SeaBus to Longdale Quay (and no, Nick G, we didn't
literally hop), and then took the bus up to Lynn Canyon followed by another bus on to Deep Cove. And on Tuesday we walked
ALL the way round Stanley Park. In the rain. Yes,
ALL 9km of it.... In the rain...
Yesterday we picked up a hire car and jumped (again, not literally!) on a somewhat wet & windy ferry over to Vancouver Island. Today the weather took a turn for the better and we headed out of Victoria on Highway 1 up towards Nanaimo with a quick detour to Lake Cowichan. Got lots of ideas for places to stay when I return to Vancouver Island in the camper van next month. Also did a fair amount of partying for my friend Mark's birthday on Tuesday... Thankfully no dancing on a stage in a dodgy nightclubs until 2am
