Dinner!Dinner!Dinner!

Bacon that looked like ham with cabbage (usually not a fan) but it was GREAT and mash (taters) and a wonderful cream sauce that was full of calories I am sure
So sorry for missing day 9! Not too exciting anyway. Though I thought I would not be able to graduate when I returned home because of two classes I at first was pre-reg. for here but now are no longer being offered, but thanks to a wonderful academic adviser, she's found two classes I can take to fulfill my major! The trade off- a Friday class and I have to drop Irish Folklore... :/ BUT I will be done with my major classes when I come home.

Got to hang out with my roomie Donna- she's a dollface. Love her. That's about it. See? You didn't miss much.

Today woke up and went to class at 1pm then met a friend at 2 got some lunch then went to the city center- the bus was VERY slow today. took us 30 mins! Should have been 15...oh well. She needed to find a tin whistle for her music and dance class. Though we found the street, we found no music store she needed 😞 We walked at least half a mile up and back. My feet hurt. Found David though! So David...Cassey, Lacey and...Justine! (had trouble remembering all the names!)

The @ button is on the far right in the middle of the keyboard- killed myself the other night in the library having to enter my email on stuff!
We walked another 30 mins looking for food and though passing several places Justine and Lacey rejected them. However we ended up settling on a place. Smokey Joe's...yes a place you could probably think would be found in Stephenville, TX. And Mexicana music was blasting. But the food was interesting. David and I both ordered bacon, cabbage, and mash dinner. Irish, yes? It was wonderful. It had this delicious thick cream over all of it. Wonderful. The bacon looked like ham but the edges of it were bacon-like. It was awesome though, despite the strange mexican decor and music. We passed by a Texas Steak House too, the menu on the door had enchiladas, quesadillas, and tacos- with phonetic spelling beside it- I laughed. (KAY-sah-di-ahs) lol SOOO funny. I want to go once to see what it's like.

I found a watch! YAY!

Returned home and my roomate Donna took me and her boyfriend in her car to Dunnes a Wal-mart like store- love it. Bought some bathroom rugs for my nasty looking carpet, some sweatpants- SO comfy, raspberries, grapes, cookies, a bit of chocolate, an UMBRELLA! Good trip. I also am using a little day-tear-off calendar and

The funny currency sign!
taking each day and taping it to my wall by my bed like prisoners do to tally their days. A bit weird? Maybe, but my wall is looking more colorful and is less depressing than digging tally marks into my wall, yes?

Also, last but not least. Happy Birthday Daddy 😊

Sounds like ur having fun. If you see any kabab places definitely give it a try. That was a mainstay of our diet while we were there. Also beware, they dont have "chili" as we know it. Their chili is either a chili sauce that is middle eastern and is nothing like chili, or its some gross bastardization that u will find on "nachos" at bad American style restaurants. Take care and enjoy urself! And spar is a lifesaver lol! So is Centra. ~Shawn
