After 55 hours since we awoke on Monday morning, we fell into our first real bed at the Guest House. It was midnight. We awoke 6 hours later to begin ministry.

Our first agenda was breakfast and then a tour of the William Carey Academy and Administration Building. Then the men and women went their separate ways for lunch.

Us girls took advantage of a rare treat at the beauty parlor. Have you ever had a cup of tea while having a pedicure. It's an interesting experience. As our driver was not available, we took a baby taxi home. I didn't get a picture, but hope to do so sometime today. The traffic is a nightmare and I'm glad I just need to trust the driver and not drive myself.

Our evening was spent with the Longs, Loftis, and several of the single teachers from the academy. What a bonding experience. If you ever want an adventure, Bangladesh is the place to be.

Today, Friday the 15th, we will attend church where Dr. Mike Loftis will be speaking and then head to the conference in Malumghat.

Hurray!
I enjoyed your entry and pictures. By the way, your BD map is upside down! Can't wait to see your pictures when you come home. The guy who used to work in my home called me Fri AM (BD time) from the church yard. He wondered if you'd arrived and was hoping you'd be in church. I told him you probably wouldn't be, due to the meetings. I gave him permission to seek you out and introduce himself. His name is Ujjal (OO'jawl). Hope the meetings go well and that you love BD as much as I do! Joyce

Lynette, Pauline said you have sent a couple of emails, besides your blog entries. Is that so? I haven't received any. Joyce jlrudduck@mchsi.com
