Edit Blog Post

Sorry its been a while since our last blog entry everyone, but weve been livin it up in the stunning Siem Reap!!!
So after 9 days of staying in Siem Reap, we finally decided to head on to our next destination!!! Sihanoukville!!! This is Cambodias premier beach resort destination, which is situated on a headland with 5 immediate beaches to choose from, all dipping into the Gulf of Thailand!!!
So last night we left our hotel in Siem Reap, and got on the SLEEPY BUS FROM HELL!!!!
At first everything seemed normal (apart from the pungent smell of human excrement oozing from the onboard toilet), but about 15 minutes into the journey, we pulled over on the outskirts of Seam Reap, and rescued a group of Russian tourists who had been on an earlier bus, which had unfortunalty broken down!!!
After everyone was onboard, it was made aware to EVERYONE (by a VERY VERY drunk Russian man) that he didn have a seat!!! He proceeded to try and communicate with the two bus drivers and the tour operator who didn speak any English or Russian. He very quickly became rude and abusive, and was DEMANDING that he have a seat, or his money back!!! But the poor Kymers did not understand any English...especially not drunken, slurred half Russian English!!! He then proceeded to poor the remains of his vodka and coke over the drivers head, causing him to slam the brakes on and pull over. They got him off the bus and he literally begged on his knees that they let him back on, and that he was sorry....its has gone midnight by this time, and people are TRYING to sleep!!!
Once moving again with drunken Russian aboard, he sat next to the driver in the co-drivers seat (which is meant for the co-driver to sleep in..as they swap over half way and we were on a ten hour bus ride).
He continued to play Russian techno from his travel speaker as loudly as possible, whilst singing Russian folk songs at the top of his voice!!!
It was getting later and later, and he was STILL drinking, and nobody onboard the bus had got any sleep. The co-driver snatched the remains of his vodka bottle, and smashed it on the floor outside the door of the moving bus!?!?
And poor Ricky and Onie were sat right at the front of the bus, seats number 3 and 4 right next to the door....(so literally ring-side seats)!
Even thought slightly entertaining at times...NOT OUR FRIEND!!!!
But despite this we arrived safely at Sihanoukville, and continued to check into our lovely hotel, situated 50 yards away from Serandepity beach and for only $10 a night...bargain!?!
We plan to stay here untill sunday 13th, which is when we get our 2 hour boat ride over to the Cambodian Island called Koh Rong!!!
We have made reservations in a very popular beach hut resort with amazing reviews which is owned by 2 Brits called Rich and Chris, called Lazy Beach Resort!! If you get a minute, check it out at www.lazybeachcambodia.com
One western guy we met in Seam Reap told us about it! He has been travelling the world for 20 years and has been to places like the maldives, the southern pacific islands and the Carribean...and said that without a doubt Ko Rongs Lazy Beach Resort, is the best place hes ever travelled to!!!
We are staying there for 8 nights, untill the 21st Dec in which we will make our way via bus and boat to Koh Chang to stay at The Cliff Cottage Resort for Christmas!!!
And then its onto Bangkok to stay at the Rambuttri Villiage Inn for New Year...Whoop Whoop!!!
