Another late start for us today as a result of last night!! The rest of the flat were worse for wear too..................... good call for a fry up!
We treked off to the market and I got my hair cut for a mere $15 (7ish pounds!) thats a first- but didnt include a wash or dry!!!! So embarrassed- cos my hair was curly it was like I haven't brushed by hair for what seemed like days! It took her a good 1/2 hr to get though the mane!
By the time I got to the market it was closed- went for food and said goodbye to our ex roomy Dave (who is off fruit picking) and now we are just chiling at the flat and packing as we are off to Sydney tomorrow morning- we are sharing a car with 2 German guys from the hostel we were staying at- gosh that will be an experience! We set off tomorrow morning- it takes 12 hrs but we are stopping off in a few places on the way so will be arriving in Sydney on Wednesday............
O gosh! How Funny!
Will quite miss Melbourne now- we have met lots of lovely people- especially Col, Claire, Rena (thanks for letting us stay!), Steve and thoses crazy Irish Boys!!!!!!!
Would have been great to see some of the commonwealth games esp the hockey and gymnastics but there is a lack of jobs and accomodation goes up in prices from next week due to the games...................................................................................................
Been told that Melbourne is much better than Sydney but we will have to see........
