I slept for a very long time yesterday....and had several cases of not being able to sleep at the right times, but I seem to be sorted about now, been up all day exploring!
Had a walk down to the beach this morning, it was fairly beautiful but the sand is golden rather than white and a little grainy! Is that being picky?
Walked back the other way into town and found some new shops! Quite exciting!

The one thing I notice/like about Darwin is that there are actual Australians everywhere! Moreso than any other city I've visited in Aus! It surprises me as there are two main streets..and one consists almost entirely of backpacker hostels- surely bombarded with Europeans? Clearly not! Infact, there's an Aussie lady in my room just travelling around Aus for 3 years! Why not!

There are also palm trees with coconuts on them everywhere. Lovely!

Also it is very hot.

I like Darwin!

Going back off to Mindl beach now to catch the sunset markets! 😊

Bye x
