It's official, I now believe what Daddy has been telling me for the last week or so - he's smiling! This morning after a feed he looked into my eyes and his whole face broke into the most wonderful smile! I, of course, started crying! That must have confused him! :-)
Apparently he's been smiling at all our friends, and at Daddy on a fairly regular basis, but this was Mummy's first really proper smile!
And he's growing at a furious rate! 11lb10oz on Wednesday, jumped from 60th percentile to 75th, his face is really quite chubby now, very cute, and his legs are getting much stronger. He'll be six weeks old tomorrow.
On Wednesday evening, our good friends A&E arrived, with their two boys - my godsons, they spent all day yesterday with us. It was so nice to see them all. A was an absolute star, hanging out the washing, taking me shopping, even babysitting for a couple of hours while I slept in the afternoon! Brilliant! :-) Thank you!!

Hi. Alison your milk must be full of all the goodness this gorgeous little boy needs, he looks so big, he is growing so fast, you sure you are only giving him milk and not 3 meals a day!! He looks lovely and so perfect, not a spot or blrmish on him, you both ust be so proud. You both enjoy him as before you know he will be running around, then youwill have your hands full. Take care and love to you all. hugs and kisses to Jamie. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
