enjoying pool time right outside the door of our lovely little oasis "honeymoon" suite
jet lag? pffft... jet lag laughs in the face of tarn and steve! Ok, so a bit more sleep in Hong Kong might have helped. 40 degree heat, 5 flights and little sleep over the past 60 hours and it finally catches up with us, basically losing our brains and acting like zombies for two days!

Once we recovered though we found our lovely little niche of Dahab and enjoyed a "honeymoon" week of sun, surf, snorkelling, delicious egyptian food and generally relaxing and unwinding.

the eel garden cafe on the beach 2 minutes from our little oasis hideaway provided us with delectible dishes and our friendly local treat shop kept us in baklava and a multitude of random yumminess. we quickly made friends with the neighbourhood camels, cats and goats, which helped us with missing our own cat a little bit.
