The best Metro stop so far.The best Metro stop so far.The best Metro stop so far.

I forgot where I found this, but it's a random metro entrance. It looks like a door to another world, but it just takes you down to the subway. It needs to light up. Maybe at night?
21 days in France. Does it seem that long to you? The weeks are a blur, and I mark the weekends with pictures, each one a mini vacation. I don't work on the weekends (yet.) I am used to the french keyboards now, and typing this entry on my ibook is confusing. On satudray I completed my Parisian transformation by buying a long black coat, a book to read on the metro, and entrance into a paris nightclub. Dancing ahoy. Also, I've decided English is a beautiful and underrated language. I love hearing it.
This sunday I was rewarded by further exploration of le Marias and the latin quarter. The Picasso museum was just the right size, and I stumbled upon it on a free entrance day. Pictures ahoy.

At school, film stuff really got rolling. Today I finish up backgrounds and gather up the courage to begin animating by midweek. I had a difficult meeting with some of the teachers, where I had to fight to do this film the way I want to do it, and not by their paramaters. Well, I fought and they let me go. Now I need to get into gear to prove that

A small, quiet square in the Marias area. I escaped the river of shoppers and drew here until my fingers froze.
I can do what I said I could. I hope it does not backfire.
I'm really kinda exhausted. It takes all my energy just to be here. Like a lake fish breathing ocean water. And making a film. 😊
till next time,

I was supposed to be crossing the street, but took this picture instead. Some of the first clouds I've seen. I love sillouettes.

There's half faces and angry bulls, but the things I liked best in the Picasso musee were these random, appealing character sculptures. This is called Lady with an Apple or Orange. The verdict is still out.

These two brothers read a letter, either sad, or bored. It makes me wonder what the letter says.

They are smiling, so I like it. It is nice to find a picture that smiles at you.

If I saw this spoon and rake thing coming after me in the cornfields one night- It would be scary. He's creppy enough sitting there in his case.

Awesome character design. I'd love to see him stop-motion animated.

A Lady takes her baby out for an afternoon stroll. I wonder what the world they go walking in looks like?

Picasso draws Sacre Coeur, the white church in Montmarte I saw last weekend. I like how it looks, and how it came that we both looked at the same thing.

An awesome portrait by Miro.

Garden again.

Back in the Marias garden, the vines have snuck up around the hands of the clock and kept it still. The statue's faces have mostly worn off.

See! I have been working! A turn around for Paige, this film's main character. Aka Square-hair.

Stop motion animation? With that? Make it happen! I wanna see what it'll do! Also, I hope that Paige doesn't have to get her hands messy dealing with those creatures. Unless of course, she's a martial arts trained ex-marine, then she can do whatever she wants. - Daniel
