We both got burt to a crisp today, but it was so worth it. We hired a Tuk-tuk to drive us around the ruins again. Our Driver and his wife were really fun. They took us to an elephant camp where we rode an elephant around for a half hour. The people there were total scammers and i swear the only english word they knew was "tip. tip" i pretended i didnt know that they were saying since they had already scammed us out of 820 baht each. I was mad. But it was fun anyway.

Well we thought the Songkran festival was over, but i guess the people of Ayutthaya think it is just too much fun to only last 2 days, so here it lasts 3. That was fine by me because getting a bucket of icey water dumped on my head was a nice relief from the 180 degree heat. It was actually very entertaining.

There would be like 15 kids pilled in the back of a truck with a big barrel of ice cold water. We drove thorough miles of trucks with people in the back just throwing water on eachother. One of them blaring

Mc Hammers "cant touch this". Classic. The little kids got esspessially excited when they would see Ryan and I driving by. They'd throw water on us then smile and wave at us. some of them would yell "hello, hello!" i wish i could'va gotten pictures of all of it but i wasn't going to risk ruining my camera.

We visited this temple, I dont recall the name. But inside was the largest Buddah statue i have ever seen (not that probably says much for me) but this thing was so large that just the fingers were as tall as a man. very impressive. i tryed to get a picture but it was dark inside and there were many people in there praying.

i made another great discovery today.......Dairy Queen. Yep, it was a good day 😊

We also were able to get a train ticket for Chaing Mai so we will be leaving tomorrow night.
