really comfy
I've been here 2.5 weeks, so I thought I should start describing my apartment.
I'm on the 3rd (4th?) floor in a building in a residential part of Prenzlauer Berg, which is part of Pankow, which is part of East Berlin. It's basically a studio, and since it can get quite cold outside, I often find myself inside...here. Exciting, huh? I have heat, hot water, and strong water pressure, so I cannot complain about anything...not having any of those would've HURT. So the flat is basically an IKEA commercial, and the motif is "beach towel blue". I had to buy a duvet cover and a few pillowcases are still needed. The girl I'm subleasing from took the linens but not the stuffing, as it were. She's in Hamburg for a while, and her instructions for the washing machine were woefully inadequate.

Not all of my neighbors are interested in knowing me. Dani lives above me and she's friendly, and a young Italian family is letting me use their wireless until they move...in a month. Getting an Internet connection was way more difficult than it should've been.

I got my first pieces of real mail yesterday, from Genovese and Melissa.

So someone besides Deutsche Bank knows where I live. By the way, it's:

How's the Bier?
Any insider reports of Berlin's best bierhaus? Just in case I find myself in the neighbor at some point, I like to be prepared...for beer drinking!

Got the picture!
Hey, Rawley, Just wanted to say it's great to be able to write AND see pictures of where you live! The female in me wants to get "ahold" of that space and create a little better living environment for you. BUT, guys don't require that as much as girls. You certainly have what you need there so enjoy! I will show B this e-mail and we look forward to reading and seeing more through modern technology. Speaking of living space, we are meeting with a designer from Greensboro next week to discuss changes we want to make on the house at Vesta. Dillard has been redesigning my kitchen and we want to go out from the glassed in room (where you last napped) and enclose that part of the patio into the room to allow a family dining area. One thing leads to another so we might also go up one floor and make a master suite. Anyway, when you next come up there, it will probably be completed!!!!----creating more places to nap. Hugs from me to you, Coatesie

Did you notice??
For most of your blogs there are some ADS at the top, obviously drawing on words you have mentioned. Where you talk about your missing "linens" (above) there are 3 ads for LUXURY linens! The photo of your bedroom should be in juxtaposition.
