Okegawa City Hall
I'm getting my Koseki Fuhyo (residential history) Day 5: Okegawa, Hanko, Karaoke 10:00am: Jon wakes me up. I was sleepy but I love knowing he thinks about me. I went back to sleep.
10:30am: I got up, took a shower, ate breakfast (slice of bread with Swiss cheese and hot coco drink) and got ready. Ate Reci and I talked.
1:00pm: We talked for a long time. We left to go to Okegawa.
2:30pm: We reached Okegawa City Hall. It took 5 minutes to walk there and 3 minutes to get the Koseki Fuhyo. It was super easy.
3:00pm: We went to the Okegawa Post Office and Ate Reci mailed a big envelope.
4:00pm: We went to Ageo to buy a “special” family stamp called
hanko. Ate Reci only knew 1 place that will give us the hanko at the same day. I bought 3 for me, Hide, and Hiroshi. The hanko maker laughed when I said that the hanko are presents to my brothers. Hankos are usually not presents. 1 can be used for the whole family. But Americans don’t use hankos, so I think it’s just cool to have.
4:30pm: We ate Korokke and rice, as we waited for
Okegawa
It's empty. the 3 hanko to be finished.
5:15pm: We were back in Warabi (Ate Reci’s apartment place). We went to the 100 Yen shops and grocery shop. Haha, Ate Reci always empties the self which contains her and Aimi’s favorite yogurts. I bought postcards, letter stationary, bunny hanko container, mini coin purse, pouch with zipper, “pass” holder, and cellphone cloth carrier. Ate Reci taught me how to lock the door and open her mailbox. I spoke to Hiro on the phone.
6:45pm: Ate Reci and I meet up with Aimi and went back to the apartment.
7:30pm: We went to karaoke and sang a lot of songs for about 4 hours for a total of $20.40 with all-you-can drink and eat ice-cream.
11:30pm: We left the karaoke and went to the convenience store…all the yogurts were gone!! Guess who had the yogurts already? I bought disposable razors.
12:05am: We’re back at the apartment. I ate Sun Chips for a snack. I’m tired.
I have videos, but it's taking forever. I will upload them on youtube later. Please look forward to it. I'll post them later.
Note: The times are approximate. If you want Okegawa Sewer
It's decorative. me to send you a postcard, please send me your address.
