We are heading to Puerto Rico

We hope you will join us on this journey which begins on Sunday, January 11th, and follow our daily entries. Check back frequently and see what we have updated on the blog. Amaríamos el viajar con usted.

We arrive in San Juan and have a tentative agenda - check back to see if we stay with our plans or live in the moment. So, what about a tour of San Juan's Old City, a visit to El Yunque rainforest, a trip to Barrachina's for the original Pina Colada and a moment at Nona's bar for a Mojito, a hungry drive to Cayey to visit the Lechonera-Los Pinos for some pork sandwiches, a stop in Jabos Beach/Isabela to witness El Pozo de Jacinto, travel to La Parguera in Lajas and the Phosphorescent Bay, one of two bioluminescent bays in Puerto Rico, to experience the luminescent spectacle, stop by the Casa Verde Guest House in Rincon to visit a friend, surf on the west coast, and make sure to frequent the chicharrones. See how we do and encourage us to be adventurous - not that we need the encouragement, but it might make you feel like you are with us y eso sería grande.

We did watch the game - bar hopping - and we watched the end of the 3rd quarter and all of the 4th quarter at Barrachina's the home of the Pina Colada
