After some drunken antics on New Year's Eve and Stacey being so kind to let us sit with her at the spot with a good view I had invited her to stay rent free on our sofa if she was running out of money. She was in contact not long after to see if the offer was still available or whether it was just a drunken jesture. After discussing with the lads whether or not we could have a girl stay at the bachelor pad we decided we'd be glad of the new company and she arrived at our place on the Thursday 5th. It was quite funny as we all had to then be on our best behaviour for a few days... no farting, burping, toilet humour etc. but she soon became one of the lads! We headed to Sidebar (the backpacker place) in the city that night for her initiation, even though she said she wanted to come to Coogee to detox and not drink too much..... She came to the wrong house!!! A good night was had by all.
The next 2 nights she had to spend on her own as we were all at work on Friday and Saturday night. On Tuesday Colin and I felt like we wanted to see a bit of culture and become a little more educated so we headed to the 'Museum of Australia' (who knows where they thought that name up??) There was a 'Wildlife photographer of the year' exhibition on that Col and I were both quite keen on seeing. Some of the photo's were amazing I took some photo's of the photo's so you can see. We walked around the rest of the museum to see stuffed birds, insects, and lots of skeletons of various animals, was a good way to spend a cloudy day.. yes that's right it's summer in Oz and it's cloudy I didn't think that was possible?!
We went to see 'Fun with Dick and Jane' at Randwick cinema that night as it's only $5 on Tuesdays (roughly 2.50quid) was very average, but "chewing gum for the eyes" Matt Kyle, 2006.
Today was Stacey's last day of her travels and she departed the mansion earlier this evening to fly home, not looking forward to going home at all!! It was a sad time as we had all got on really well and had a really good laugh, not only that but she bought us a bottle of Bundi to say thanks, legend!!!!! 'Slam the Lamb!' was Stacey's addition to our dispicable vocabulary, may the toilet humour and releasing of gases commence again! haha.
Her last day was a good one though as we went on a walk, Matt, Col and myself determined to learn to surf, to Bronte beach, but found you can't hire boards at Bronte so we had to go all the way to Bondi. Stacey couldn't come to Bondi as she had to get home to pack. Feeling like the day was drawing closer to an end we decied to jump on a bus. The bus driver was probably the nicest bus driver I have ever had the privelage of meeting and he didn't even ask us for money, fantastic. We got to Bondi and went straight to a surf shop to hire surfboards. We hired 2 for $25 each for 2 hrs. Colin and Matt were first in the water I did some filming and some laughing. It was then my turn... Ow! I came out bruised, bashed, grazed, yet determined. In the end I got up a couple of times but nothing really to be too proud of, but a good taster of more to come... I will learn!
I have only been given 2 shifts a week at La Cita, friday and saturday, both starting at 8pm which isn't enough to cover the rent so I need to find myself another job, which is my task for tomorrow, great!

Moths...
Did you take the moth picture? It's really cool! Well, what have i been doing? Apart from my job interview thing yesterday which went pretty bloody well to be honest, I've not been up to much really, other than working at the bar. But... last night we went on a boys night out, Me, Jonny, Rich and Matt (it was Matts last Friday with us, he's off the Canada monday). So we thought we show him a good night, and we sure did! It was great. Had an awesome time. Jonny and Rich made there way home, and Matt and me decided to go back to his to pick up his camera as we're off to Borough Market in a jif. On the way to Matts walking through a dark field, just next to the headers and volleys court, we came across 4 chavs... One saying to us "Yeah, what you looking at?!!!" and threw some leaves at us, oooooh! Twat. So we took the high road and said something like "good one mate" (I don't know?) So we walked off. ONly to hear this kid (with the leaves) shouting at someone, we turn around and this kid is hassling 2 other guys (with his leaves). We turn around to see if they're alright, and this kid starts shouting "Give me yu fookin phone man, or all jack yu!" (something like that, I don't understand ghetto!) So Matt starts to walk back, and I follow just behind, then all of this kids mates come out from behind the fence, shouting "leave it leave it!" to the leaf kid, as we get closer the leaf kid goes for me hesitently, and I just stand there didn't blink (tough guy!) and said "holy crap I thought you were further away than that!?" He didn't like it one bit, his mates realising that this one kid was having a crack at 4 6ft plus guys twice his age, were getting a little worried and dragging him away, it was well funny! Wankers, so we started shouting back stuff about bed time, his mum and all sorts. It was jokes brav (ghetto!) Anyway, gotta go, off to the market. Peace out, keep on having a crack at the surfin' you'll lock it down soon enough. Peach. Love Col.

Just can't seem to find 'let me go wild' so if you find anymore details on that one, it would make my day to know it! This time last week guys, oh this time last week...will be in touch again soon. Poor boy
How sad your life sounds, beer and stray women in your flat. How shallow your life is becoming, you need to mature and enjoy civilised educational pursuits such as..... beating the United 3 -1 on Saturday, booing them all afternoon and then going for a small libation in the local hostelry to celebrate! Seeing Fergies usual good natured reaction to defeat, blame the ref, blame the atmosphere etc nothing about his team bottling it (again) and that tart Ron Aldo spending the afternoon auditioning for Strictly Come Dancing (Speciality dance the step over gay gordon. It was most enjoyable and easily matches sunshine and surf, unfortunately back at work now and that certainly doesn't compare. Good luck with job hunt. Cheers Your old dad. Up the blues!!!
