Can't Sleep

So it's 4:30am here in Australia, and I'm somewhat wide awake. After falling asleep around 10pm, it's hard to get back to sleep. Did I mention the cochroach that was crawling around in my room??? It was about 2 inches long, and an inch wide. I trapped it in a mug which is now upside down on my desk. It's pretty stuffy here still, even so early in the morning.

Sasha's house that she's sharing w/ 5 others is really cool looking. It's got really high ceilings and large rooms. Sasha's housemates are Claire, Kim (guy), Jason, Mark, herself, and another person. Claire's room is where I'm staying because she's not home for the next 2 months or so. Annadale is such a cute little neighborhood. It's very homey and everything is within walking distance of Sasha's house.

Yesterday at Bronte Beach we climbed up these cliffs that go all around the bend of the land, and you can just sit and enjoy the view up on them. It was a bit scary climbing the rocks, but it was definitely worth it once you saw the view. It's crazy to think that the tide covers all of those rocks as well! I'm planning on going back with Sasha strictly for taking pictures. It was gorgeous! Besides climbing the cliffs, we definitely enjoyed the surf and sun. I got a little dark, but not too bad. I did come home with tons of sand in my bathing suit though which was uncomfortable. Thanks to the massive waves that kept slamming into us and pushing us up the shallow part of the beach shore =)

Today I'm planning on getting up at 8 with Sasha and heading down towards where she works at a cafe shop that's near the University of Sydney. By the way, that campus is beautiful! I think I'm going to have to go to a phone place to see why they disconnected my cell, and if they can put it back to normal or not. Otherwise, I'm going to have to buy another cheapo phone.

I'll be meeting up with my friend Nicola today as well at the Sydney Opera House at noon so I'm excited to see her again! I think we're going to do some sightseeing stuff, then Nicola and her friend whose visiting, myself, Sasha, Sasha's friend, and possibly some of the housemates might be going out tonight.

Well, I guess that's all for now, I'm still hoping to get over this horrible cough and sinus stuff, but so far it's still here 😞 Anywho, I'm off to try and go back to bed!
