bangkok

so i spent my first day in bangkok sleeping mainly :P .
this was definatley needed and i went to my air conditioned room and passed out for a good 17 hours which in my opinion was too much dont know what you think though . So I awoke this morning at around 9 o clock ( my body clock is good again ) and the first thing that was on my mind was the fact that i need to get this visa for vietnam. the travel aganets i have been to are all charging around 1500 baht which is around 25 pounds but its single entry when i need a multiple entry visa. SO i am concoting a plan which involves me going into china straight from Laos but i dont know how to go about doing this I.e where the border crossings are. also I may get my visa in china and come back through vietnam and cambodia as I want to see both these places. there is however no train service in Laos just busses and i dont relish the idea of spending 2 days on a cramped bus assuming there will be no room to sleep. decisions decisions
one final thing in order to save money i will be moving into a 200 baht per night room which as you will see from pictures when i post them isnt that great but what do you want for 3.50 a night 😊

so as my body clock I thought had got itself sorted , I have unfortunatly had the pleasure of waking up at 3 am everyday . so as ive been dealing with this I tried to do a few things that i havnt done before so I took a tuk tuk down to china town which turned out to be ok but a bit of a let down as it only sold things like hardware and cheap toys like goin down the marcket at home pretty much . it was nice however not to have people harrassing you as you walked through the tight twisting streets and narrow alleyways , another interesting thing i got to do was go to the grand palace, I have been there before but this time it was nice to be with someone I met a guy called victor from LA at a food stall where i was eating and he said he'd never been so we went, although they now charge 300 baht it was cool all the same and i got some decent photos ( again youl see when i put them up )

It s now my last day in Bangkok and I am again relaxing and have managed to stave off the feeling of temptation from koh san road and buy any of their amazing crafts. ( im going to go nuts when i return though )

If you read my last post i was deciding about my vietnam visa, and after looking at the maps and deciding I will be going to Laos and heading to china through there. So tonight I am getting on a sleeper train and making my way to nong Khai which is a town on the Mekong river and will spend my last few days in thailand before moving on to Laos.

lets see how it goes ......

Peace x
