Ok we have been living in the city of Bundang for about four months now and I finally got the idea to take some pictures so everyone can see what it looks like. Our town of Bundang is huge there are over 439,000 people in it, how do I know that well I just googled it. Bundang is a suburb of Seoul which by subway is about an hour away. We live, conveniently, directly across the street from a subway stop which is Sunae station. I have no idea how many people live in Sunae but it is compact. I took pictures of our building which is the tall plain looking one. We have many American stores including Quiznos, Coldstone, Dunkin doughnuts and McDonalds. We also go to Costco about once a month so there is no shortage of American food. All the pictures that I took are within about 2 square blocks of our apartment building. Korea is extremely compact and businesses rarely have their own land so you see a lot of businesses stacked on top of each other. The night life in our town isn't that great so many times when we go out we will sit in front of The Buy the Way in front of our apartment building. There are a few fun hangouts to go to like the billiard club, yeah billiard club there aren't a lot of pool tables here they play billiards which is weird. Also there are norie bongs or singing rooms that you can rent out with a group of friends those are really fun but you usually have to have a few before you do that. Jenna and I have started a Hapkido class which is like Tikuwando but with more real fighting application we have been running to class which is about two or three miles away, not really sure how far it is, the class is really good we are learning a lot and getting into better shape. Even though Korea doesn't have a lot of space they are very good at making room for parks and running and hiking trails. There is a river behind our building that has running paths and basketball courts. We use that trail to run to our class it’s pretty nice but like all of Korea it is usually crowded. Another nice thing about where we live is that it is about a 5 minute walk away from our school. For Korean standards our neighborhood is very nice, its a rich area and its very clean. We have visited many towns and cities here that are disgusting and crowded.

Wonderful blog
This blog makes me miss Bundang so much! Bundang does make you appreciate the cleaner environment it has to offer. Gwang-nam used to be my familys origin area until they all moved to Bundang, which was the best move ever! I hope you enjoy your time in Korea, its a great place to live internationally.
