Well folks, after a gruelling 20 hour trip to get here, we have finally arrived! Bangkok is bustling as ever and the familiar smells and humidity hits you as soon as you get into the thick of it.
First day was a write off as catching up on sleep but yesterday had a stroll down the Kao San Road, managed to get wrestled into spending a few of our hard earned bahts (yeah, like we had an arm up our backs, eh?!) and proved ourselves to be cultural philistines by making the first meal of the trip a big mac!!
Ended up getting drunk in some dodgy thai night club where Geen was chatted up by an Irish lothario and I ended up in a harem of indian men! Photos to follow.
Next stop Koh Chang and Koh Tao.
