Turtle heaven

Sipadan is an island off the north east coast of Borneo known for great diving. We spent three days diving around this little island and two others. There were dozens of sea turtles, some as large as a semi tire, which gives me hope for this species. However, there's a cave here where some of the get lost and eventually drown. 😞 We didn't dive there, the pictures bummed me out enough.

We saw some other cool critters too, just check out the pics. We're off to Indonesia next.

Frog fish
This fish has a couple of "feet" that it uses to secure itself to coral and sea weed. As a matter of fact, I would never have known it was a fish and not sea weed until our dive master showed it to us and then unfortunately pulled it off it's perch. :(
