Duty Free

Just at singapore airport after a gigantic night on the town. We touched down at the airport and went straight to duty free to buy big bottles of bicardi and gin. After locking up our bags, we asked some guy in the basement the best place to go for cheap food and lots of boozin. We caught a taxi to some place on the sea called east park. We decided that it was quite rubbish and expensive and caught another taxi into the city, asking the driver the cheapest place to eat in town. He dropped us at some place called newmoon or something, which was basically a huge food hall with pretty much the same dishes at each stall and lots of sproukers trying to make you eat at their place.

We decided to go for the place which looked like it had the most people out the front of it. Pretty good food, some sort of seafood noodle fried chilli awesomeness. After grabbing a couple of bottles of coke and some cups from the stall, we sat down to consume our food and duty free booze. Two hours and 2 litres later, as well as a couple of big bottles of tiger, we (apparantly) jumped in a taxi and headed to singapore's equivalent of clubba - orchid towers. We managed to make up some awesome nicknames for eachother and tasks that we had to complete before the trip was finished (see the top of the blog page for the info). This place was just a huge building with a few crappy looking theme bars and crazy shops. A bunch of drunken aussie louts weren't going to last long in a place like that (and we didn't, getting kicked out pretty soon). Milney (diesel) decided that pressing the $500 button on the ATM would be a fantastic idea (as singaporean currency is the most useful thing i could have on me right now - nice one diesel). He got his karma when he thought he would get the first jug, which happened to cost $37. I'll post some photos of the night later on.
