What Jack thinks of America, verbatim....

There was a man with, like a man with some parrots I had one on my arm and a tattoo and then I had one on my head and my arm and the one on my head pecked my ear and it hurt a bit...

And then what did we do then um (snigger)

Um in Colorado we went on the alpine slide and i thought that was really fun because the last time i had a go mum was really slow and i went like ages after her and like caught up with her by going really fast like nerrrr nerrrr (car noise) and caught up with her and crashed into her. I wished that there was a lane that you could just overtake people in.

I liked playing Frisbee and *really* liked the rodeo but thought it was mean to treat calves like that.

I liked the lights in Las Vegas

In San Francisco i really liked the buses and trolley cars and stuff. In Alcatraz i really liked the guide thing ‘cos it showed you how they tried to escape and stuff. They showed you a man in a cell that was like pitch black and the man would flick a coin and search for it and keep doing it to stop himself from going mad and another man used to pretend there was a light like a television and he would pretend to watch it.

I liked it in Universal Studios ‘cos we did this tour and we were in a movie as well where there was this train station crumbling and in Jaws this man was diving and he just turned into red stuff. And I liked the Simpsons ride ‘cos it was like you were in a video game and I liked Disneyland because there was a roller coaster ride and it was called Space Mountain and it was a really fast roller coaster ride and it had sharp corners and it went on its side.

I liked it in SeaWorld cos there was loads of stuff you could do there was this show that had loads of animals, there was an otter that came in with a pepsi can and i thought that was really funny and it came upto these two seals and one of the seals kept eating the fish when the girl had told him not to eat them so she gave all the rest of the fish to the other seal. I thought that was really funny. Dad liked the big walrus that came in the water at the end. I thought the coolest bit was the otter carrying the pepsi can.
