nothing to do here. but somewhere far at the sea, there is the reef.
hi everybody!

after some days of wasting myself in Cairns, I finally decided to do a dive course. maybe because many of you my friends already done it... maybe because everybody says it is a must to see the great barrier reef... of course the reasonable price has helped when taking the decision... but predominantly, i'll need the licence when diving on my travel in future. yes. i hope so.
so I took the whole package, two courses, SSI license to dive down to 30m, two days of theory and practice in the pool, 4 days/3 nights liveaboard the yacht changing the locations of dive sites at the great barrier reef. night diving, boat diving, deep diving, navigation, first shots with underwater camera. though exhausting, it was my best week in australia so far!!!
it was a good spot to take a course. we saw sharks (ok, smaller than 1m). they have green eyes if you illuminate them at night. ups, a bit scarry.
a turtle can be an excellent underwater scooter!! they like to be touched by divers becuse we clean their shield of algae. and stingrays and pufferfish which blow up and look like a ball with fins

we saw it on our way to the reef...
if it's worried to be eaten. many tropical fish, including Nemo 😊) see the pics although i'm a beginner in uw photography.

have fun guys and enjoy the summer!!!!!!!!

ps. there is a dirty secret about the movie Finding Nemo. because the clownfish can change sex. and if a mother clownfish dies, a father converts to mother and when one of the kids grows up, it replaces a father and becomes an ex-father's partner. now you know why Nemo's father was looking for Nemo so desperately... a story you maybe don't want to tell your children, hehe
