1: Grand Canyon 64 secs
Grand Canyon..Grand Canyon..Grand Canyon..

One of earth's most powerful and inspiring landscapes...

Here we go again, another of the "must do's" while we are in the states.
(We are hoping that having visited many National Parks, that it hadn't spoiled us for the big one.)

Our next stop is the "Grand Canyon"...

Must say we weren't disappointed.

It was everything we expected and some.

First we did the North Rim.....

The views were stupendous.
Skim had a few problems with vertigo, but she soldiered on.

However we were surprised that parents, let their children just run around at the edge of the cliffs.

How dangerous is that?
The sheer drops are pretty scary!!!

We then continued along the "Vermilion Cliffs" highway to the "Cliff Dwellers Motel", where we spent the night.
Come morning we found ourselves unable to exit the room due to the lock breaking!!!

(It took about an hour to attract attention to our plight.)

Finally released, we headed off to the "South Rim" of the Grand Canyon....

Again the views were awesome.......
