This was at the back of the Motel a great little inlet, all the houses had their own moorings
What another lovely place to come to we had a wonderful Time here, the Motel we stayed at was lovely it was Called the Port-o-call and the people we so friendly, gave us a lot of good advice where to visit and such. Even had Lovely little Koala in the tree at the back of our room it was magic to see a Koala in the wild so to speak. [View Full Entry]

Scrapers or What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Arrived in Ballina, after travelling part of the way down the Gold Coast, didn't enjoyed that at all the Sunshine Coast city was all Sky Scrapers which is not our type of place did see some lovely beaches though. After arriving in Ballina it was like arriving in heaven it's really lovely, beautiful Harbours,inlets and the town was a pleasure to walk around. the pictures tell what a great place it was the Motel we stayed in was pleasant not huge but welcoming and made us decide to stay 2 nights. Lovely Views
Stayed at Agnes Water for 2days and that was enough for us, great for youngsters plenty of water sports and fishings and other young people pursuits. had some pretty sights and the beach was great but there were Box jellyfish in the area so were advised not to go into the sea, but as you can see by the pics not everyone took the advise. It certainly Rattled!!!!!
We are having a great time here in Queensland, had a few quiet days in the last week, But everyone who comes to Queensland need to go on the Valley rattler it's the best steam train ride ever, Oh what memories, Boy was it it hot that day though!!!!!!!!! lovely scenery all the way through, another must is the Eumundi markets held on Staurday and Wednesday need to get there early though it gets Packed, Loads of places to visit here but unfortunately the Heat haze spoilt a lot of pics climbed to the top of a Mountain veiws were marvelous [View Full Entry]

What an experience we had, We had received a Big Box from a carrier, It felt as if nothing was in it but we weren't allowed to open it until Sunday, Pete's 65th birthday Well Sunday came we set about opening said Box very carefully as we had been instructed to do, And out popped a balloon much to our surprise on the bottom the string was two tickets for a balloon Flight how good was that, Anyway 16th June we were down at Pitchcroft Race course waiting in anticipation, 7.30pm we took off, I didn't know how pretty and green [View Full Entry]
