Back in Sydney :D

Well well well....here I am back in Sydney, getting ready to fly to New Zealand on Tuesday!! (that's 2 days time people!!!) I can't believe how quickly the time has passed whilst I have been in Oz and I really have had the best time, but am ready to move on for some more fun adventures in NZ.....even though it is going to be abosolutely FREEZING!!!hehe

The rest of my time on Magnetic Island was really fun....we rented 'topless' cars which were really fun and the BEST way to get around the Island!! We saw the sunset, fed wild wallabies and generally explored and had a bit of freedom to roam around where we wanted to!!! :D

After Magnetic we went to Mission Beach for 1 night....it was really nice here, there's not much to do but it was fun to just hang out, swim in the pool and prepare for Cairns! :P

Between Mission and Cairns we went to a croc farm which was kerazy!! I nheld a babybaby croc, a snake, and a wallabie! awwwwww We then got a tour of the croc farm and saw the guy feeding them which is not something I would EVER volunteer to do!!!! It was crazy and the strength of their jaws is incredible! Honestly guys just NEVER go near one!!!

Cairns was brilliant....Megs did her diving qualification so Emma and I went up to Cape Trib with Paul, Glenn and Adan...we had such a great time here too :D On the way up we went on a river cruise and saw wild crocs, snakes and all sorts of wildlife! funnfunnfunn :D The place we were staying at in Cape Trib was the quieter hostel, but it was really nice and we got free beer all night as we all had these vouchers so we just kept using them - BARGAIN! even though I don't drink beer!!haha lol

We walked up to the lookout which was a fun little outing and on the drive back to Cairns we visited a lagoon and Port Douglas which was brilll.....Port Douglas looked like a really lush place too, its ashame we were only there for 30 mins!! Ems and I did go and get some fabulous icecream though :P yumyumyum

Back in Cairns we went to a full moon party and all dressed up in luminous attire which was amazingly fabulous!!hehe

Whilst Megs was still doing her diving Ems, Glenn, Paul and I all went on an introductory dive and boat cruise too!! The dive was amazing, but restictive as to what we could do as Em was the only one that's done diving before and so we had a guide and were linked together for the whole dive....its sooooooooo wierd breathing under water, I havn't quite decided if I like it or not yet!!hehe The dive was gorgeous though...we didn't see and turtles or sharks or anything of major interest, but the coral was soooooooo cool, and we went to a crazy 9 metres deep!! ahhhh We were also upgraded to a really nice 5* boat too which was rather nice and poosh :P It was a little windy which made it a wee bit chilly, but the sun was shining and the day was beautiful so all was a ok :D

Our time in Cairns mainly revolved around socialising and going out which was fun and a really good way to end my days with my wonderful Oz Ex family (i miss yoooooooo!!!) Oooo and we saw the Sex in the City movie too which was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo brilliantly goooood!!!!! ahhhh We took Adan with us....he had a pretty girly day actually as we went shopping and then to the movie!!haha bless him :P loveee yooo

Anyways we are now back in good old Sydney! We went to see Hamlet at the Sydney Opera House which was sooo brilliant. Shakespeare with an aussie accent is surprisingly good too!!haha The guy playing Hamlet did such an amazing job and we had a fabby time :D We also met up with a girl called Vicky who Megs and Em met in Thailand which was cool....we all went to Taronga Zoo and had a lovely day amongst the animals!! :D

We're staying at Wake Up hostel which is sooooooo nice and clean!! a little pricey, but actually totally worth it!!! Especially after Megs got Bedbugs in Cairns at Gilligans - NEVER STAY THERE - they're supposed to be a really good hostel, but they have a major bedbug problem so i'd suggest that you definately stay elsewhere unless you want to get them!!

Megs and Em went to the blue Mountains today....i've already been so I decided that it wasn't worth me forking out $95 on a tour to see the same things again!! I have had a lovely day of Ceri however which is wonderful :P hehe I have managed to finally buy myself a jumper in preparation for NZ....now all I need is a coat!!hehe oooooo I almost forgot to mention, yesterday we went to Glebe Market which was soooooooo good!! Got a new bag, some accessories, a hat, some sunnies....all things one needs in their life :P hehe

Anyways I best be orf as I have to meet my girlies! Can't wait for NZ...I imagine the next time I write I will be there freezing my ass off!! ahhhh I need to prepare mentally for this methinks :P
