Hello there peeps! Sooooo....today is my last full day in New Zealand!! :( It feels like my time here has been a complete and utter whirlwind! Everything has gone soooo fast, but I have had such an amazing experience.....definately coming back in the summer months when it's a wee bit warmer!!!!!hehehe Since my Skydive I have done a loop of the South Island finally arriving in Christchurch yesterday. After Nelson our next main stop was Lake Mahinapua where we had our infamous Kiwi Experience 'Poo Party'. This is basically a party where the driver of the bus gives you a theme to dress up as. We had the lovely theme of Bin liners for the girls, whilst the guys had to dress up as girls! There were 1st and 2nd place prizes for the most creative ... read more

I think if I ever lived in NZ I would most probably live here....not only ... read more
Hello there everyone back home! I am now back in more familiar (ie COLD) climates, however the amazingness of New Zealand is most definately worth it!!! It is such a beautiful country and there si sooo sooo much to do and see here!! We landed in Auckland on the 1st July and almost immediately hired a campa to drive up North to the Bay of Islands in. It was sooooo much fun....although really rather weird driving again, especially an automatic which I have never driven before!!hehe Still we had a good 3 days. We got to Paihia which is a really nice little town only to discover that the camping stove we had been supplied with did not work!! We proceeded to a hostel who let us use their facilities for free which was uber nice ... read more
Well well well....here I am back in Sydney, getting ready to fly to New Zealand on Tuesday!! (that's 2 days time people!!!) I can't believe how quickly the time has passed whilst I have been in Oz and I really have had the best time, but am ready to move on for some more fun adventures in NZ.....even though it is going to be abosolutely FREEZING!!!hehe The rest of my time on Magnetic Island was really fun....we rented 'topless' cars which were really fun and the BEST way to get around the Island!! We saw the sunset, fed wild wallabies and generally explored and had a bit of freedom to roam around where we wanted to!!! :D After Magnetic we went to Mission Beach for 1 night....it was really nice here, there's not much to do ... read more
Goodness me I havn't written for you guys for quite a while....you must be so bored!!hehe Let me give you a quick catch up of the beautiful little adventures i've been having over the past week or so :P!! After Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach I caught the Oz Experience bus and went to a little place called Kroombit Cattle Station which is situated Inland from the coast.....I had sooooooooooo much amazinly brilliant funn!!! I got to herd goats on horseback, we did a goat muster.....catching and pretending to brand a goat....it was sooo funny to as I was in a group of all girls (me abby and jess) and they gave us such a big ass scary looking goat!! It jumped up onto the top of the gate and it was sooooooooooo blooming scary!!!! then ... read more
Oh my goodness....Fraser Island was BEAUTIFUL!!! We were soooo lucky too, as the weather was absolutely pefectissimo for us!! No rain AT ALL!!hehe It was soo great to meet up with Megs and Emma and they also brought a girl that they met in Byron with them called Lesley who was also really lovely! :D We had an awesome group and such a fabby time on the Island in our 4x4 :P On the first day we went to Lake Mackenzie which was awesome.....it's one of the top ten beaches in the world and it really was out of this world. It's not actually a sea beach, but a freshwater lake with a beach. This meant that there was no horrid salty water....you could actually drink the water you were swimming in, and it tasted soooooo ... read more
Waheyyy....the weather is starting to clear up! AT LAST.....it really is about blooming time!!hehe There's not really much to report from here as yet......back in Noosa we never got as far as going to the Zoo as the weather was truely awful and it's mostly outside which is rather sad...still another reason to return to Oz! :P hehe To be honest I didn't really see that much of Noosa at all (other than the main town) as it was pointless going outside unless you wanted a shower that lasted longer then 4mins (water restrictions on showers suck over here!!) I did like Noosa however, and would love to go back there in more welcoming weather someday!!hehe So far here in Rainbow we have walked up and down the street that is this place!!lol It's quite cute, ... read more
Soooo the weather has taken a turn for the worse :( gayyyyyyyyyy It's been raining since yesterday and it is PROPER rain....not very Australian really!!!hehe I spent one night in Brisbane in the end.....didn't really fancy spending 4 days in another city, especially when there's nothing much to do there other than go out and go shopping (spend looootttttttsss of money basically!!haha) I ended up catching the Oz Ex bus at 6.30am on Wed morning which was no easy feat....especially after staying out drinking until 2am! :S hmmmmm maybe not such a great idea in heinsight :P We had a fab night though! It was the guys last night in Oz and they had to get up early to catch their plane, so we were determined to see them off nice and hungover! mwahhahaha. Anyways I ... read more
Well my lovely people, I am currently in Surfer's Paradise waiting for the Oz Experience bus to Brisbane.....I stayed here longer than planned as I went out on a 'Backpackers Night Out' here in Surfer's on Saturday night and we went to Dreamworld on Sunday so it would have been a bit of a squeeze to catch the bus on the same day!!hehehe On my last day in Byron I took a stroll to the lighthouse and Cape Byron which was cooel....it was a really hot day too!! Trust me to book surfing lessons for the only 2 days that it was miserable weather!!haha On my walk to the lighthouse I met none other than Hayley (the girl I met in melbourne!!) Twas quite funny as I just saw her walking down the path coming back ... read more
