SUN, SAND, MALIBU RUM & PINEAPPLE JUICE

Hi again! We just got home today from a 4 night stay in Costa Brava on the coast of Spain. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort called the Sunrise Hotel in the region of Lloret de Mar. Our resort was located only 300 metres from the beach. We spent our few days lounging by the pool and on the sand next to the Mediterranean. The 'sand' along the beach was surprisingly rough. It wasn't as soft as we had imagined, but rather a cross between sand and gravel. We soaked up a lot of sun and came back to the rainy country of England with a bit of a tan! Malibu rum and pineapple juice was our main drink of choice while we relaxed on the beach chairs by the pool. Bri worked up the courage to swim in the Mediterranean (despite her fears of being eaten by sharks) and we enjoyed the nightlife at a couple of 'discos' (nightclubs) along the main strip. Searching for a good nightclub to go into was like shopping at a flea market! All along the street were representatives from each nightclub handing out flyers/invitations trying to persuade people to go in. Overall, we enjoyed our few days of relaxation in the sunshine! On Monday we're back to work. However, we won't be back in the classroom teaching just yet! We leave at 6:30 Monday morning to bring 44 students to Germany for Activities Week! The countdown is on! Only 7 weeks until we come home for the summer! We can't wait to visit with as many people as possible and get some massive wedding planning underway! Miss you! 😊
