Hello again! This weekend is a long weekend for us (Monday is a holiday, although we have no idea what the holiday is.) We've been rather busy enjoying our three days off! On Saturday we went into Milton Keynes to watch a football match (soccer) with some colleagues. We met up at a pub for a few pints before the match and enjoyed a social day out. We had a great time! It was the last match of the season so the fans were in high spirits!
On Sunday we ventured to Windsor to see Windsor Castle. We took a train from Aylesbury to London where we then hopped on the tube to Paddington station. From there we took another train to Windsor with a transfer in Slough. Windsor castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. The Queen spends most of her weekends here and was inside the castle while we were visiting. The history of the castle can be found at http://www.royal.gov.uk/output/Page574.asp if you're interested! After visiting the castle we enjoyed dinner in a pub and then crossed over the Thames River on the Windsor Bridge and visited the small town of Eton. Eton is home

to Eton College, arguably the most famous public school (privately funded and independent) for boys, founded in 1440 by King Henry VI. The school's uniform includes a black tailcoat, a waistcoat, a false collar (detachable collar) and pinstriped trousers. Tuition costs approximately $54000 US per year. Recent graduates include Prince William and Prince Harry. Windsor and Eton are both very pretty towns with old architecture. It was definitely worth our visit! The great thing is that our admission to the castle allows us unlimited admission for the next 12 months. St.George's Chapel was closed today because it's a Sunday, so chances are we'll definitely go back!
We hope that everything is well for all of you at home. We look forward to seeing as many people as possible when we come home in just under a few months!
