The word of the day is IRONY. Life is irony. We should always watch what we say and weigh every word that comes out of our mouth. I was chatting to a friend the other day saying how I hate London for sirens, for Ambulances and Police cars running the streets rushing to save somebody, how many times a day you hear sirens rushing to the scene of an accident, a fire, a murder.... Sirens making us aware that in that very moment when we go routinely about our day, somebody's hurt and desperately needs help.

About a week after making this comment, on the 13th February, it happened to me. The sirens went on for me. I had a cerebral seizure on a bus and an ambulance rushed me to the nearest hospital. The doctors scanned my body, to see where the problem was and discovered an infection in the occipital area of my brain and operated me that very night. Apart from a splitting headache that I had assumed, was due to work pressure, there had been no obvious symptoms of something going terribly wrong.

It's the end of April now and am I'm slowly, but surely

on my way to complete recovery. I'm still on very strong antibiotics and am not allowed to drive. I think I'm going to take a break from London and go home to be with my folks and get some well-deserved rest.
