Tom and I arrived at 12noon here in New York. It is now 7:30pm or 00:30 your time. So we have been up for 22 hours nearly, long day! So this entry is not going to be huge. Flight over was really good with Virgin Atlantic.

The Accommodation is really good here in Brooklyn (chilled out and clean/tidy). We took a trip into Manhattan earlier today to get our bearings for the days ahead. Manhattan is huge alot bigger than 'the city' with the west end etc and everything is so big. We just had to get a hot dog at a mobile vendor (there seems to be one at every street corner).

I think the cost of living here for a few months is going to be quite good spending 'pounds'. Just kinda getting a feel for the place at the moment.

Back at the accommodation we are settling in for the night, just had a few beers and written our post cards to you. Tom and I discovered some food products called Muscle Milk and Aunt Jemima, which we found hilarious, went over the Americans heads completely which made it even funnier.

So weird, such a vast space empty, loads of tall buildings around this area and you know that these towers were so much bigger.

wtf
...are Muscle Milk and Aunt Jemima anyway? I can't even comprehend how either of those things could be considered foodstuffs
