Here I am again!! hehe...I thought I should take advantage of the free internet really, as I probably won't write on here EVERY day when i'm in Bali as there may not be as much to say!! I think i'll take it nice and easy over there, maybe do some water sports and rainforest walks - although i've done enough walking in the past 5 days to last me a lifetime!!

Anyway back to today and both Rhodri and Chris have gone onto their next stops 😞 It's really wierd how much I actually miss them after only knowing them for about 3 days!!haha Hopefully i'll meet up with Rhodri in Perth though, as that's where he's gone on to now and i'm gonna be there in just over a week, so we're gonna meet up again there 😊

I wasn't actually alone today, as two other guys that I met (Che and Mark) but hadn't really spoken to properly yet wanted to go to the Botanical Gardens too, and when I mentioned the show on Sentosa they thought that sounded like a plan, so we all went together! 😊

The Gardens were so pretty, well designed and well kept! It felt really relaxing and kind of like a whole other world out of Singapore City!! It's so difficult to put into words how nice it was but there were areas like a rainforest walkthrough - where there was this MASSIVE tree which they had run wire down to keep it safe from lightening - also there was an Evolution Garden, which was basically a walk through which took you through the different stages of the Earths life...from when it was first created to after the dinosaurs! It was so interesting to actually see the transformation within the confines of a walkthrough and really gave you a good perspective of the Earth's life!! There were also these fossilised trees, which used to be wood, but are now stone, I can't quite remember the process of how this happens, but I think it's something to do with sediment getting into the bark and fossilising - if anyone actually knows feel free to refresh my memory!!hehe - perhaps i'll google it too :P

There was also a reflexology walk (pebble path!) and a herb garden...it was really fascinating to see what the herbs actually look like before the are picked, dried and put into pots for us to just put in our food without a second thought as to what it actually looks like before it gets there!!hehe

We managed to spend about 3 hours just wandering around the gardens looking at all of the different areas, and as dinner time was approaching we though it'd be best to get to Sentosa Island to get tickets for 'Songs of the Sea' before it sold out!

I'm running out of time so i'll have to save that experience for another blog, keep you all hanging on!!hehe

30 seconds left... :P

love you all
