Hello Everyone, just a quick note right now...not much time for pictures...

I'm currently sitting in Miami airport waiting to board for Quito. Goodbye, America...at risk of being a little melodramatic, it's just about the end of the world as I know it. That said, I'm told I will be met by people at the hostal I'm staying at to get me to the place. I could work on a cab, but I can be adventurous in the coming days. Be sure to look for pics, I'll try to post more soon.

More Similar than we Think
I thought going to Lima would be like that, too, but there was a WalMart and a Home Depot visible from the road on the way from the airport into Lima. Not as different as I thought--or hoped! Keith

Have a good time Gary! It is only 3degrees here and I am sure you will not miss the weather. Let me know how the food is and make sure to be brave...but not too brave when trying the local foods.

Well I still think your nuts but you might as well have fun being nuts! Me and mom are too old to be nuts, no wait were nuts too but we have fun being nuts at home! Will you be any where near all war talk areas?
