At the last day of our visit to Bangkok, we took a Public River Boat to the very South of Chaophraya River . We visited Menam Hotel where we have stayed fifteen years ago.Little changed but more beautiful. By Sky Train we went to the night market, Patbong . Almost everything is fake and for good shopping strong bargaining skills needed. All along the market road there stands many sex shows , night bars, etc.
The next day on 29th Jan., we started for Koh Chang by bus. It cost roughly 13 USD each for six hours VIP transport (ferry ticket incl). Koh Chang is a very beautiful island in the east part of Thailand very close to Cambodia. We went to Coconut Beach Resort at Klong Prao Beach. There are mainly four beaches on the west part of the island. White Sand Beach is the most popular one, the beach we stayed at may be the second, as you go down to South you see Kai Bae Beach and Lonely Beach.
In our Resort room rates were about 90 USD but they provided us a simple bungalow with fan at the very beach for about 22 USD.

rained but the day time it is quite sunny. We rode an elephant first time in our lifes in the forest. After one hour elephant ride we reached to a pond of a waterfall where we washed and rubbed the skin of our elephant, Thongyacht. It was male and has nice teeth. Inside parts of Cengiz’s legs were aching because of the elephant ride.
On the fourth day at the island we took a boat trip to the several small islands along the South. The tour was excellent indeed. First we visited Koh Whai for swimming and snorklig over the corals. The second island we stopped Koh Maak is a paradise for lonely couples. There are beach resorts on both islands and the sea is cristal clean. The last stop was Koh Thong Lang which is like a rock rather than an island. Like Kardak in Turkey. This is the place where we both have been impressed very much by under water life . We snorkelled with the coulorfull fishes side by side. They sometimes come on to your hands. The corals are wonderfull with every shape and colour. Unfortunately we don’t have an under water camera, therefore you may visit

Today is our free day and we are blogging for our friends on internet. Inşallah we are heading to Cambodia tomorrow early in the morning. We are planning to reach Sihanoukville on the South but we may change our way to Siam Reap, North of Cambodia. We may have difficulties on internet in Cambodia.
