So fun floating through the powder!
Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. We spent Christmas Eve having a few drinks at the pub after work and then Christmas Day we had a bit of a sleep in and enjoyed opening our pressies from family. Instead of going boarding we hit the hot tub at our place with another couple (Emma and Brent). We enjoyed relaxing in there for a few hours drinking our traditional Swedish Christmas Drink. That night we went over to a friends place and we all had Christmas Dinner together and yes it was a truly white one, it did snow!

We had some Aussie visitors for New Years- Laura, David and Katie all joined us for for a few days. It was so great to have them here to help us celebrate. We had a pretty random and funny night as the party we were supposed to go to didn’t end up happening so we walked our way through Fernie to find a Plan B and had many funny moments along the way. In the end at 11.50pm we wound up at the Samesun Hostel party. A few hours later and another hot tub session we were all

ready to call it a night about 3.30am. Poor Karl got stuck with the 7.30am shift so he was a bit worse for wear. We had some great days boarding with them and the snow kept coming which is always a good thing..

Since then not much has been happening. We have had some awesome powder days and managed to get first tracks on most of them so that has been unbelievable. The photos say it all really! So on that note we will leave it there….til next time, hope you are all well and had a nice break over the silly season.

Christmas Day we all decided it would be a fun yet crazy idea to jump out of the hot tub into the snow, Karl took it a step further and made a snow angel.

Once the bowl opened we all made the long, tiring yet satisfying traverse across to get untouched powder. As you can see it was pretty windy and cold, Em actually got little white spots on her face this day (frostbite)!!!
