Barcelona... YEA!

It's only 1315 and I've had as much excitement as I need for a morning.
The Plan: get to the regional train station via the metro. Leave lots of time. Relax!!
What Actually happened: got up at 9 had breakfast, checkout and get on Metro. I think the RENFE train is near the Palicio so we head to the west. (totally ignoring the name of the station I need is Atoches and is only 3stops away. We head the wrong way!! 90minutes,6trains,20 stops later..we make it to where we need to be (which would've been done in 4min, 1train, 3stops!!!)!! Get on long line for reservation and end up missing the 1145 train. Realize this....things move a little slower here!! Luckily though I am done with it at 1230..just in time for the 1305 train. The landscape heading out of Madrid is middle mountainous, brown with rows of orchards and it's a rugged and beautiful landscape.

We make it to Barcelona by 7pm ... it was a 4 hour high speed train ride. This train exceeded 210kph .. that is a good pace.... in excess of 120mph ..

But the big news you all wonder is likely... What is up with our luggage and are we starting to smell?
So, I will answer those one at a time.

There has been no news of our luggage, but I have heard that our luggage is enjoying travels of it´s own and will be starting it´s own blog.
As for question number two, lets just say that we fit in well with our European neighbors (if you know what I mean). We are both feeling a bit rough and tomorrow (Saturday) is the day for clothes shopping!!

when you purchase new socks... please don't try to salvage the current ones... some things are being a good steward when we throw them away!
