A very grey day and lagoon!
Took a day ride to Knysna to see the lagoon. Went on the obligatory ferry ride to the heads or entrance to the lagoon, unfortunately the weather was wet, windy and cool but our captain made the trip interesting with information about Knysna. When back on dry land - or should that be wet land as it was still raining - we decided a nice leisurely lunch was in order. We went to the Spur and as we hadn't had a steak yet decided it was now time to enjoy one. We both had the most delicious steak and it almost made up for the bad weather.

Next we decided we would try to find the Knysna forest and tried several roads. There didn't appear to be any signs pointing the way and although we had maps could not find the forest even though we tried several very rural roads. The last one we tried ended in what had been a rockslide and the whole road was blocked although there had been no signs and we wondered if it had just happened the night before. We decided to call it a day and leave the Knysna forest still a mystery.

Had our normal campfire but the mozzies were extremely active, the absolute worst place we have had so far, in fact almost the only place we have found them.

The Forest - is it really there?!
We had trouble finding the forest too ... and went away without seeing it!
