Hey Guys so I'm now in Aotearoa, which is usually translated into English as The Land of the Long White Cloud or even better known as New Zealand. Auckland to be precise and have been here about 2 weeks, this is really exciting as this entry is actually being wrote while im still in Auckland in real time, how good am i catching up on my blog, little round of applause for me please.

So what have I been up to, well in the first week I met up with Emily who I travelled America with. Her family have a lake House in Rotorua so we headed there for a couple of days before she started work, where we chilled out, mucked around on the lake, watched movies and I had my own room which I needed at this point. It was great and I came back to auckland feeling a lot more refreshed and ready to figure out what my plans were to be in New Zealand.

There was a bit of a setback though, as im still here in Auckland over a week later. It is not Laziness on my part, its not my fault, its the fault of the mosquito's. I was attacked when in fiji, they liked me a lot so much in fact that my right leg under the knee and my foot turned a lovely black/purple colour and grew to about 3 times its normal size, it is only when this happens that you get to realise that you get take two same size legs for granted, I will never make that mistake again. so in my first week i was able to sample the delights of the new zealand hospital system, I can recommend it, well not recommend it but if you have to go then im sure there are worse places, at least here you get food delivered to you in bed, hostels should take note. But I'm a survivor and mosquito's cant get me down so im not out and my leg is now only 2 times its normal size and wrapped in a great bright green dressing.
Luckily my infectious personality has still allowed me to make friends even with this infliction, lucky for me that im a great person to hang around. I've now got the all clear to bring my dieased leg around the country so im off tomorrow and making my way down the North Island, there is no point staying here as coming up to xmas they is not that many jobs around and plus i don't want to work, I love the life of a slacker and I think I might just carry it on even when i get home.

Cant wait to get on the move again and it is while im on my long bus journeys that I will plan my counter attack on the mosquito's as they may have won one battle but I was ill prepared, they will not win the war. so after tomorrow I will have new exciting places to talk about and this time i will try to keep up to date.
