A Weekend in the Life of James & Anna

Friday 6pm: After rushing home from work it was off to High Street Ken for a meal and then to see Bride and Prejudice for a grand total of only 80 pence. Scored a deal in one of the evening papers here so all good.

Friday 11.30pm - arrive home after great night and made decision to go to Paris for the day with freinds tomorrow. All of a sudden James started to feel very tired.

Sat 3.30am - Alarm goes off and we are up and at it. We are picked up at 4am and we are off. Make the 6.45 ferry at Dover and finally reach Paris by 11am.

Sat 12pm - After hanging at the Eiffel Tower for a while we persuade Anna to climb the Arc de Triomphe with us. She does it no worries which was a nice change as heights and Anna dont generally go to well together. We then found a lovely patisserie on the Champs-Elysees for a beutiful lunch. Spent the next few hours wondering around and just enjoying the beautiful city.

Sat 5pm - We start the long journey home and finally reach London again at 10pm

Sunday 7.30am - Alarm goes off and we are up and at in again as James is running in a charity fun run this morning through the city in a Gorilla Suit.

Sunday 10.30am - The run starts and James certainly looks the part and what a sight, 700 odd Gorillas running through the city of London, people didn't know what to think.

Sunday Mid Afternoon - Home for a small rest as the last few days have been all go. Anna has to pack as she heads to Athens tonight to help open a new Jo Malone store. Get her off by 6pm and then James heads home for a restful evening while Anne endures the nightmare called Heathrow. After sitting on the tarmac for and hour and a half she is finally off and will arrive in Athens by 3am. By this time James is fast asleep.

What a weekend, full on but awesome experience and memories.

On the move through central London. Struggled to see with the mask on but got through the run without a problem.

It makes it all worthwhile
A gold medal and all the training and hard work has paid off.
